OSLON® P1616 – Small form factor and high intensity

The OSLON® P1616 products are the latest addition to the (near) infrared high power LED product portfolio of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors. With a package size of only 1.6 x 1.6 mm² and a best in class intensity the devices are the industry’s smallest high power (near) infrared devices addressing different applications:

The infrared high power emitter SFH 4170S and SFH 4180S are specially designed for IR illumination applications, such as 2D Face Recognition, Eye Tracking or CCTV.

Due to the low height of only 0.8 mm the products are the perfect fit for all space critical applications, nevertheless they captivate through their high optical output power, efficiency and reliability.

The newest addition to the OSLON® P1616 family is the new near infrared (NIR) broadband emitter SFH 4737 for spectroscopy applications. Compared to its predecessors, the SFH 4737 has a three times higher optical output power and a much smaller form factor.
